Biography
Iain Cornish was appointed to the Board as Treasurer from 1 January 2017. He chairs the Finance and Audit Committee, and is also a member of the Remuneration, and Investment Committees. He has been Chairman of Shawbrook Bank since July 2015. Iain was a founding member of the Prudential Regulatory Authority Board from its formation in 2013 until 2015. He is currently a senior independent director of Arrow Global Group PLC and of St James’s Place plc. Iain spent 19 years at Yorkshire Building Society, including eight as Chief Executive Officer between 2003 and 2011. Iain is married with two children and lives in Yorkshire.
