Biography
Mark Earley qualified from the University of Bristol in 1993, trained in cardiology in London and was appointed consultant at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in 2006. His subspecialty is cardiac electrophysiology – disorders of the rhythm of the heart. He is currently the treasurer of the British Heart Rhythm Society and sits on the European Heart Rhythm Association accreditation committee.
Research Interest
He has a keen interest in research with 35 journal publications since 2007 and ongoing projects at St Bartholomew’s looking at curative treatment of AF, particularly ablation. He is an expert in the use of robotic catheters for ablation.
