Mr Stephen Rex

Biography

Mr Stephen  Rex qualified as a doctor in London in 1994 and is a Consultant Cardiologist based in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, West London and surrounding areas. He has worked as a popular private consultant for ten years and also works for the Heatherwood and Wexham Park NHS Trust.

Research Interest

His specialist interests within cardiology are interventional cardiology (angioplasty and stent insertion) and the implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators in the treatment of heart failure and sudden death syndrome. He also has a particular interest in teaching, as well as chairing local patient groups. Dr Rex also has a keen interest in medical technology and has embraced recent advances in technology to improve the service he gives to his patients.
