Biography
Meg has recently completed a Masters in Conflict, Security and Development. The course included a module on public health that helped to develop her interest in health-related international development. Before this, she studied Criminology and is still fascinated by crime documentaries. Meg started her career in the international development sector working for a women’s rights NGO (a cause close to her heart) and she has also worked for a charity focusing on hepatitis. Meg is very excited to be joining the World Child Cancer team as she is passionate about the welfare of children in developing countries and hopes to utilise and develop her skills in the programme team. As a result of living in Canada for two years, Meg has developed a love for skiing, poutine and Justin Trudeau. She enjoys reading, running and has recently taken up quilting.
