Alex Benham

Biography

Alex is a physiotherapist and lecturer across undergraduate and postgraduate physiotherapy and sport courses at York St John University. He gained a PhD in pain management in 2011 from Leeds Metropolitan University and then held Research positions at Manchester Metropolitan University, Bradford NHS trust within a Leeds University research department.

Research Interest

Alex has a keen interest in the areas of pain and rehabilitation and continues has contributed to the evidence base within both these areas and strives to stimulate an understanding of research and current evidence in his teaching.
