Physical Limnologist
Ecology and Hydrology
Centre for Ecology & Hydrology
United States Minor Outlying Islands

Biography

He have been researching ocean, atmosphere and lake physics for over 20 years, and have worked with a variety of numerical models, field data and long-term data. He lead CEH work in the use of automated high resolution monitoring stations in lakes and was PI on the NERC Sensor Network grant for a United Kingdom Lake Ecological Observatory Network (UKLEON). His current research focusses on lake physics and its myriad effects on lake ecology. He have regularly received funding from the NERC and worked on several large EU projects. He have supervised several MSc and PhD students and lecture on a Lancaster University MSc course. He is a member of the GLEON Collaborative Climate Committee.
