Hidefumi Kasai

Biography

 Mr. Kasai joined Certara in 2013 after 20 years of experiences in Japanese pharmaceutical companies, Keio University and a Japanese CRO. He has experience in pre-clinical pharmacokinetics, population PK/PD analysis, and modeling and simulation strategies in various therapeutic areas including infection and CNS. He served as the group manager and lead scientist of the clinical pharmacology division at a Japanese CRO and contributed to more than a hundred projects with Japanese pharmaceutical companies, universities and hospitals. He also conducted research on mathematical statistics at Tokyo University for two years. After joining Certara, he has served as a consultant for clinical modeling and simulation, PBPK modeling using Simcyp software, and also given pharmacometric training to many Japanese pharmaceutical companies including both non-clinical and clinical divisions.
