Biography
Aemelia is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with a degree from Yale University. Aemelia's work in international maternal and child health in Africa inspired her to pursue a career as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Aemelia is also an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant with a genuine love for assisting the breastfeeding family through teaching, guidance and hands-on lactation support. Her special clinical interests include: child development, asthma care and management, obesity and nutritional support, parenting, and care of the newborn. Although, originally from Saint Paul, Aemelia has spent the last six years living and working in Chicago. She is thrilled to finally be back in the Twin Cities and now lives in South Minneapolis with her husband, young daughter and two dogs. Aemelia loves reading, going for hikes, celebrating Pizza Fridays and rediscovering the world through her daughter's delightfully curious eyes. She finds nothing more humbling and more delightful than being a mother.
