qualified as a surgeon in 1994. Dr Tang Kok Kee started his neurosurgical training in 2006 in Singapore. He was selected for the highly sought after specialist registrar position with prestigious neurosurgical surgical centers in West Midlands including the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Birmingham Children Hospital, United Kingdom. From 1997 to 2000, he trained in neurosurgery under the late, world renowned Dr Anthony Hockley of the Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Professor Garth Cruickshank as well as Dr Graham Flint of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, England, a pioneer in the field of hydrocephalus.
