Eric Whitaker

Biography

 Mr. Whitaker has served as chief legal counsel for Fortune 500 and high-growth technology companies in Silicon Valley, including recent roles as the Chief Legal Officer of Nutanix, Chief Legal Officer of SanDisk, and General Counsel of Tesla. Prior to these roles, Mr. Whitaker spent seven years as EVP of Corporate Strategy and General Counsel at Lexar where he led all legal aspects of Lexar’s rapid growth from a small start-up company to one of the largest companies in Silicon Valley. There he developed an intellectual property strategy that led to a ten-fold increase in Lexar’s patent portfolio, including one of the largest IP judgments in California history. Mr. Whitaker was recognized as one of the 25 Leading General Counsel in California. He has served on NASDAQ's Silicon Valley Advisory Committee and on the Board of Visitors of Stanford Law School.
