Biography

serves as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board. He oversees the implementation of the corporation’s vision, strategic agenda and business plan to facilitate communication and understanding among its senior leadership. He has been instrumental in developing new markets and new services in the private and public sector and expanding Volkert geographically. Perry is a 1969 graduate of Auburn University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and holds an Honorary Doctorate from Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee. Prior to joining Volkert, Perry served as Alabama’s Highway Director from 1991-1993, Alabama’s Secretary of State from 1989 to 1991, and was elected to two terms in the Alabama Senate.
