Biography
Mr. George L. Neal has been Senior Vice President of Global Refractive and Cataract Sales of Abbott Medical Optics Inc. (formerly Advanced Medical Optics Inc.) since October 2008. Mr. Neal served as Chief Executive Officer at TLC Laser Eye Centers, Inc., since April 4, 2012. Mr. Neal served as the Chief Executive Officer of TLC Vision Corporation. He served as Vice President for Corporate Development of Eyeonics, Inc. From January 2001 to July 2002, Mr. Neal served as the President and Chief Operating Officer at Catalina Health Resource. He was a senior executive at Alcon with over 25 years experience in ophthalmic pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and OTC businesses. Mr. Neal began his career in ophthalmology at Alcon where he held numerous senior operational management positions in the areas of eye care, surgical, and pharmaceutical. He is a board member of High Profile Personnel Staffing. He received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Arizona State University, and also attended the Harvard Professional Management Development Program.
