Jonas J. Gopez, MD, is board certified in neurosurgery. After earning his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College, Dr. Gopez completed his internship in surgery at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and his residency in Neurosurgery at Temple University Hospital. Dr. Gopez’s area of practice and research interests include traumatic brain injury, spinal trauma, complex spinal surgery, sacroiliac joint fusion surgery, neuromodulation procedures for pain management and brain tumor surgery. Dr. Gopez is part of the Abington Hospital’s Division of Neurosurgery and is a proud member of the Abington Health Physicians. The Neurosurgery Division of Abington Hospital offers high quality surgical treatment of the nervous system including but not limited to surgery of the brain, spine, and peripheral nerves using state-of-the-art technology.
