Biography
Fred W. Manak, Jr. is our Senior Vice President, Access, Reimbursement, and Commercial Planning and has been with ACADIA since February 2015. Mr. Manak brings over 25 years of industry experience, primarily in pharmaceutical access, reimbursement, pricing, and contracting. Previously, Mr. Manak served as Vice President, Market Access at InterMune, Inc. where he led the market access strategy for the launch of Esbriet® in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. Prior to joining InterMune, he served as Vice President, Reimbursement, Access and Value at Onyx Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and as Executive Director, Trade, Pricing and Contract Management at Amgen, Inc. Mr. Manak received his B.S. in Chemistry from Muhlenberg College.
