Thomas M. Kody

Biography

Mr. Kody has served as a Director of Access National Bank since it was organized in 1999 and of Access National Corporation since inception in 2002. Mr. Kody owns and operates a variety of automobile dealerships in Maryland and Virginia as well as additional enterprises engaged in real estate investment and consumer auto finance which support the dealership activities. Prior to the acquisition of these business interests, from 1984 to 1995, Mr. Kody served in a variety of sales and management positions with The Jim Koons Companies, a major regional retail automobile organization. Mr. Kody obtained a B.A. in Economics and Government in 1984 from the University of Virginia and completed a special management studies program through University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce. In addition to taking an active role in regional and national trade organizations, Mr. Kody is active in local school activities including Great Falls Athletic Association basketball and baseball coaching.
