Biography
Mr. Cormack served as OncoGenex’s President, Chief Executive Officer and a director since August 2008. He was a co-founder of OncoGenex Technologies Inc., which is OncoGenex’s wholly owned subsidiary, and has been its President since May 2000, its Chief Executive Officer since February 2002 and a member of its Board of Directors since May 2000. Mr. Cormack currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Prostate Centre’s Translation Research Initiative for Accelerated Discovery and Development and the Board of Directors of the Prostate Centre at Vancouver General Hospital. Mr. Cormack served as interim President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Salpep Biotechnology Inc., an asthma and inflammation biotechnology company, from 2000 to 2001 and on the Board of Directors of Aurinia Pharmaceuticals from 2012 to 2014.
