Biography

 Mr. Matthew Schmeltz, also known as Matt, is Co-Founder and serves as Partner at Aktion Partners. Mr. Schmeltz co-founded the firm in March 2014. He is Co-Founder and serves as Partner at Avionos, LLC, which he joined in July 2014. He is Co-Founder and serves as Partner, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Acquity Group, LLC where he is responsible for both corporate marketing and working with vendors to build and evolve their technology ecosystem. He served as Vice President of Business Development at Acquity Group. Mr. Schmeltz served at the Acquity Group from March 2001 till January 2014. He serves as a Director of Acquity Group, LLC. Mr. Schmeltz was the Owner of RSVP from 2011 till 2015. He served as Account Executive at New Resources Consulting from January 1993 till April 1996During his ten years in the consulting services, Mr. Schmeltz has been instrumental in the development of a successful sales organization for several Information technology consulting firms. He serves as Executive Director at CC Investment Co., LLC. He served as a Partner of Business Development for marchFIRST where he was responsible for the management of over 25 business development managers and $200 million in revenue. His first opportunity to build a go to market strategy and business development team was with Modern Business Technology (MBT) in 1996. Mr. Schmeltz started his career at Motorola. He serves as a Board Member of Aculocity from October 2013 and of SGA youth and family services from August 2013. During his career, Mr. Schmeltz has developed a successful approach to both individual territory management and superior sales management leadership. He earned his B.S. degree from the University of Iowa.
