Leila Gonzales

Biography

 Leila provides technical support and strategic planning input for the Geoscience Policy and Critical Issues  programs.She works on website design, production, and maintenance; web analytics; video editing; webinar production; and grant writing. Leila also works with AGI's Workforce, Information Services, and Education programs, and promotes the cross-pollination of ideas and initiatives between these programs. Leila earned her Ph.D. in Physical Geography from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, specializing in palynology and Quaternary paleoclimate reconstructions. She also holds a Master of Science degree in Geophysical Sciences from the University of Chicago, a Certificate of Advanced Study in Geographic Information Systems from the University of Denver, and a Bachelor of Science & Arts in Mathematics and Spanish from Regis University.  Leila has experience working as a research analyst across industry sectors.
