James G. Mathews

Biography

 Mr. James G. Mathews has been Chief Financial Officer of ADC Telecommunications Inc. since April 24, 2007and has been its Vice President since December 1, 2005. Mr. Mathews is responsible for ADC's global accounting organization including external financial reporting, financial consolidation, establishment and implementation of accounting policies and controls and the development of financial systems. He has 27 years of finance experience. Mr. Mathews served as Principal Accounting Officer of ADC Telecommunications Inc. since April 24, 2007 and Controller since December 1, 2005. He served as Chief Accounting Officer and Vice President of Finance at Northwest Airlines Corp. from November 2000 to November 30, 2005. From May 1997 to October 2000, Mr. Mathews served as Chief Financial and Administrative Officer of CARE-USA and from 1992 to 1997 Mr. Mathews held various executive positions at Delta Air Lines Inc., including Corporate Treasurer, Controller and Director of internal auditing. He began his career at Continental General Life Insurance (now CIGNA) as Technical Assistant to the corporate secretary's office. Mr. Mathews served as Director of ADC India Communications Ltd. (formerly, Krone Communications Ltd.) from August 30, 2007 to March 29, 2011. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Certified Internal Auditor. Mr. Mathews holds a Masters of Science degree in Finance from Georgia State University and a Masters of Science degree in Genetics from the Georgia Institute of Technology. In addition, he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Humanities from Emory University.
