Biography
Margaret M. Cassidy completed PhD, New York University (1995) MA, Fordham University (1991) BA, St. John's University (1987).Lewis Mumford Award for Outstanding Scholarship in the Ecology of Technics (Media Ecology Association, 2005) Adelphi University Senior Class of 2006 Distinguished Faculty Award.
Research Interest
The role of media in public education, the purposes of public education in the contemporary media environment, the role of media in the lives of children and adolescents, the history of childhood and of children's interactions with media.
