Biography

 is Founder and President of Advanced Communications Technology, with overall responsibility for all operating business units. Steve is a highly effective leader who derives maximum profitability by streamlining field operations, hiring talented managers and communicating to all stake holders the Company’s vision for growth and service. Under Steve’s leadership and direction, ACT has tripled revenues in the past 3 years while maintaining a zero accident safety record. The measurement of growth and safety correlate to Steve’s emphasis on training and providing the team members with the necessary tools and certifications to perform the job both safely and within budget. Steve wilber is a Maryland native, Steve has 19+ years of experience in the Wireless communication industry. He is familiar with every aspect of site development and working on large scale projects with major wireless carriers in highly demanding environments. For most of his career, Steve has been an entrepreneur and has performed the essential duties of both field and office based Operations. Prior to Advanced, Steve founded Coastal Telecom in Elkridge, MD and served as Director of Construction responsible for all field operations, including over-site of contractors’ performance and management of construction staff. Coastal Telecom supported a customer base including Cingular, Sprint, Nextel, AT&T, Motorola, and Voice Stream.
