Biography
Telling is President of SLT Flight Corp. and a Director of Cell Therapeutics Inc. based in Seattle, Washington and Eisai N.A. Inc. based in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey. Telling is a member of the Board of CED, EAA, IBM’s Healthcare & Life Sciences Advisory Council, the National March of Dimes Foundation, ORBIS, the Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum, the T-6 Race Association and the United Hospital Fund. Fred retired from Pfizer in June of 2007. During his 30 years with the company, Fred was Pfizer’s head of Corporate Strategic Planning and Policy and elected a Corporate Vice President in October 1994. He was actively involved in the Council of Competitiveness and the Institute of Medicine, where he was a contributing author to the IOM’s series on Technology Innovation in Medicine. He has been a visiting lecturer at the Harvard School of Public Health and MIT’s Sloan School and is currently an Executive-in Residence at Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Business. Dr. Telling received his BA from Hamilton College and his Master’s of Industrial and Labor Relations and Ph. D. in Economics and Public Policy from Cornell University.
