Raj Dua

Biography

Dr. Dua is Vice President of Manufacturing and is managing manufacturing activities within Aequus related to the areas of process development, manufacturing, and drug supply. With over 20 years of biotechnology experience in development of peptide and protein manufacturing, Dr. Dua brings to Aequus a strong expertise and understanding of product development including technology transfer, scale up, quality and compliance and commercialization of biologics. Dr. Dua was most recently Vice President, Pharmaceutical Operations at Alder Biopharmaceuticals where he oversaw all the process development, manufacturing and supply chain management functions for their monoclonal antibody based products. Prior to that, he was Senior Director of Product Development at Trubion Pharmaceuticals and Director of Process and Assay Development at Xcyte Therapies. Dr. Dua’s career has encompassed the development of cell based therapies, monoclonal antibodies, fusion proteins and peptides. Dr. Dua received his PhD at the University of Georgia and his MBA at the University of Washington. He has published several scientific articles and is the inventor on a number of patents.
