Biography
Terkeltaub is one of the world’ leading authorities on gout. He is a clinical-translational researcher in gout pivotal clinical trials and outcomes, and has been instrumental in formulating consensus management guidelines for gout. In addition, he has also conducted extensive research in translational inflammation and gout, and has more than 70 publications on gout. He is the Editor of two textbooks on Gout, co-editor of several major arthritis journals, and founding President of the new G-CAN global collaborative gout research network. He serves as a faculty member of the UCSD School of Medicine. He holds DCS and MD degrees from McGill University, and completed his rheumatology fellowship at Montreal General Hospital.
