Biography
Lucinda B. Smith was appointed to the position of Senior Vice President, Global Business Services, in March 2013. Mrs. Smith, former Senior Vice President, Human Resources, is responsible for the functional management of all Human Resources and Information Technology organizations worldwide as well as for AGCO’s Shared Services Center in Budapest, Hungary. She has responsibility for a global team of professionals developing, deploying and implementing strategic solutions for technology and people demands to help improve overall effectiveness and productivity at AGCO. Mrs. Smith also serves as a member of the AGCO Hungary Kft, Board of Directors. Mrs. Smith joined AGCO in October 2006 as Director, Organizational Development & Compensation and in May 2008, she assumed the position of Vice President, Global Talent Management & Rewards. She has been a leader in the implementation of AGCO University, Global Rewards and Performance Management initiatives. Prior to AGCO, Mrs. Smith was Global Director of Human Resources at AJC International, Inc. and before that she held various domestic and international human resource management positions at Lend Lease Corporation, Cendian Corporation and Georgia-Pacific Corporation. Mrs. Smith holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Scripps College in Claremont, California. She also completed the University of Cambridge, Judge Business School, Advanced Leadership Programme. Mrs. Smith serves on The Manufacturing Institute’s Board of Trustees. Mrs. Smith is also a member of the Global Firms Committee of the Woodruff Arts Center in Atlanta, Georgia. In addition, Mrs. Smith serves as a board member of the American Red Cross, Metropolitan Atlanta chapter and the World Affairs Council of Atlanta.
