Michael R. Mcmullen

Biography

Michael R. McMullen, also known as Mike, has been the President of Agilent Technologies, Inc., since September 17, 2014 and its Chief Executive Officer since March 18, 2015. Mr. McMullen has more than 30 years of industry experience and senior management experience at Agilent. Mr. McMullen served as Senior Vice President and President of the Chemical Analysis Group at Agilent Technologies Inc., since September 2009 until September 17, 2014 and Chief Operating Officer from September 17, 2014 to March 2015. He served as Vice President and General Manager of Chemical Analysis Solutions Unit- Life Sciences and Chemical Analysis (LSCA) of Agilent Technologies Inc., from January 2002 to September 2009. Mr. McMullen joined Hewlett-Packard Company in 1984 as a Financial Analyst and has held several management and senior management positions for 19 years. Mr. McMullen also worked at Agilent's joint venture, Yokogawa Analytical Systems. His various assignments while in Japan included entity controller; Japan country manager; and Japan, China and Korea manager of CAS. He played a key role in integrating the Japan team with the Asia Pacific field operations and the Chemical Analysis Group. Mr. McMullen holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Delaware and an MBA from Wharton Business School.
