Bo Kowalczyk

Biography

      Bo Kowalczyk has been in the CRO industry for 20 years with a combination of laboratory (organic synthesis), program management, inside sales, sales, and sales management experience. His drug development experience includes bioanalysis, drug metabolism, Chemistry Manufacturing & Controls analytical, and API synthesis from preclinical through clinical studies. He joined AIT Bioscience (AITB) in 2012 as a business development director and has since advanced to Vice President of Business Development.Bo’s belief in a consultative sales approach based upon a relationship of trust shows not only in his customer interactions but also in the way he trains the business development team. In addition to selling a service, every member of the business development team is selling his or her integrity and trust. Having confidence in both aspects (the company and the individual) is paramount to success. This process shines through in AITB’s sponsor retention rate – 90% of sponsors who place work with AITB have returned with subsequent work and studies.Bo got his undergraduate degree from DePaul University in Chicago, IL. Subsequently he earned a Master of Science form Illinois Institute of Technology and an MBA from The University of Illinois at Chicago.
