Biography
Dr. Ehrnstrom was born and raised in Michigan. He graduated from the University of Michigan and then went on to medical school at Weill Cornell Medical College. He later completed his internship in internal medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and his residency in dermatology at Yale University. Stationed at Elmendorf AFB for nearly nine years, then Lt. Col. Ehrnstrom decided to separate from the US Air Force and opened Alaska Center for Dermatology in 2003. Dr. Ehrnstrom is a tenor in the Anchorage Concert Chorus and has developed a habit of running the New York City Marathon year after year. He and his wife, Thaysa, live in Anchorage with their two daughters.
