Biography
Dr. Fisher is a nationally recognized expert in the field of urology. He serves as the director of urologic oncology within Albany Medical Center’s Division of Urology. A skilled urological surgeon, his specialties include the treatment of cancer of the prostate, bladder, kidney, testis and penis. Dr. Fisher is a diplomat of the American Board of Urology and the National Board of Medical Examiners, as well as a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. An associate professor of surgery at Albany Medical College, he serves as a principal investigator for many clinical trials and is a frequent speaker at clinical meetings across the country. Dr. Fisher received his medical degree from St. Louis University. He completed a residency in surgery at the University of Vermont and a residency is urological surgery at Albany Medical Center, as well as a special fellowship in urologic oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
