Biography

As a nurse practitioner in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Albany Medical Center, Dr. Jeanne Millett, NP, works with patients who experience a variety of pulmonary health issues, including asthma, COPD, lung cancer and tobacco use concerns. She also cares for patients with cystic fibrosis (CF). She strives to provide a supportive and compassionate environment when she partners with patients to help them understand health issues they face with CF. Dr. Millett has been a resident of the Capital Region since 1987, and she is a graduate of Sage College, Binghamton University and Syracuse University. She continued her education at the doctoral level in the area of organizational development at Syracuse University. Her dissertation was a study of achievement motivation in women in the health care field. She has held a license as a family nurse practitioner since 1980. In 2005, she was licensed as a nurse practitioner in psychiatry by the State of New York. Additionally, she is board certified in family health by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
