Biography
Dr. Chang Kit is dual-board certified in urology and fellowship-trained, as well as board certified, in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. She specializes in female urology, providing care to patients with conditions that include female incontinence, mesh complications, overactive bladder and prolapse. She is equally skilled at performing male reconstructive surgery, and also treats male patients for conditions that include incontinence, overactive bladder, voiding disorders, and penile diseases such as urethral strictures and Peyronie’s disease. Dr. Chang Kit received her medical degree from the University of Ottawa in Ontario. She completed her residency training in urological surgery at the University of British Columbia and her fellowship training at Vanderbilt University. An assistant professor of surgery at Albany Medical College, Dr. Chang Kit has published multiple papers and book chapters, and serves as a reviewer for The Journal of Urology, Neurourology and Urodynamics, and the Journal of Endourology. She is a member of the American Urological Association, the Canadian Urological Association, the Society of Urodynamics, Female Pelvic Medicine and Urogenital Surgery, and the Society of Women in Urology.
