Biography

Dr. Muhammad Imtiaz is a pulmonologist and critical care specialist in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Albany Medical Center. He treats patients with asthma, COPD, Pleural disease, emphysema, lung cancer and a variety of pulmonary medical conditions. Dr. Imtiaz also provides care for patients who require immediate medical attention by treating acute conditions, including patients who are suffering from septic shock, renal failure, diseases that are progressing, and any disease that requires close monitoring. Additionally, he performs various pulmonary and critical care invasive procedures including intubations ,central lines, bronchoscopies, biopsies, Endobronchial ultrasound, chest tubes and pleural catheters.
