Biography
Dr. Eldeiry is a graduate of the University of Miami’s combined MD/PhD program, and received his MD degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine in 1991. His PhD degree was completed in 1989, in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Dr. Eldeiry then went on to residency training in Internal Medicine at New York Hospital, Cornell Medical Center and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center 1991-1994. Subsequently, he did a Fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism at John’s Hopkins Hospital 1994-1997. He joined The Endocrine Group and has been practicing there since July 1997. Dr. Eldeiry treats patients with general endocrine problems, including diabetes, thyroid disease and thyroid cancer, osteoporosis, parathyroid disorders, pituitary and adrenal disease, polycystic ovary syndrome, disorders of prolactin, male hypogonadism, as well as endocrine hypertension. Dr. Eldeiry also treats patients with growth hormone deficiency, including pediatric and adult patients with true pituitary growth hormone deficiency. Dr. Eldeiry is a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, the American Diabetes Association, and the Endocrine Society. He is board certified in Internal Medicine as well as Endocrinology and Metabolism.
