Sven Hida

Biography

Dr. Sven Hida has specialized knowledge and training in advanced interventional endoscopy. He is able to perform incision-less surgery to correct swallowing and digestive disorders that is difficult—and, in some cases, impossible—to find elsewhere in the region. Dr. Hida has a thoughtful and compassionate approach to patient care. He specializes in treating a full range of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary diseases and disorders that include intestinal (esophageal, stomach, small bowel, colon), pancreatic and liver cancers; dysphagia; pyloric, esophageal, small bowel and large bowel stenosis; achalasia, pancreatitis, gastroparesis, Barrett’s esophagus, ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, irritable bowel syndrome, GERD, obesity, blocked bile and pancreatic ducts, and gallstone disease.
