William S. Marth

Biography

 Mr. William S. Marth, also known as Bill, has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Albany Molecular Research, Inc. since January 01, 2014. Mr. Marth served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Americas for Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Limited from June 2010 to November 5, 2012 and served as its Senior Advisor until December 31, 2013. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of TEVA Pharmaceuticals USA, Inc., a division of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. from January 21,2005 to January 21, 2008. Mr. Marth served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Teva North America, a division of TEVA Pharmaceuticals USA, Inc. from January 21, 2008 to June 2010. He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Teva USA of Teva Pharmaceutical Finance LLC from 2005 to 2008. Mr. Marth served as an Executive Vice President of Teva USA from January 2002 to January 2005. From July 1999 to January 2002, he served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Teva USA. He served in various positions with the Apothecon division of Bristol-Myers Squibb. Mr. Marth served as the Chairman of Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc. since January 7, 2014 until July 28, 2017. He served as the Chairman of Albany Molecular Research Inc. from June 5, 2013 to December 31, 2013 and served as its Director since May 2012 until August 31, 2017. He has been a Director of Galmed Pharmaceuticals Ltd. since May 2012 and IVAX LLC since February 2006. He served as the Chairman of the Board of Generic Pharmaceutical Association since February 2008. He served as Vice Chairman of Generic Pharmaceutical Association. He served as a Director of Generic Pharmaceutical Association since 2005. Mr. Marth holds a B.Sc. in Pharmacy from the University of Illinois in 1977 and an MBA in 1989 from the Keller Graduate School of Management in Chicago, Illinois.
