Nicholas D. Chabraja

Biography

Nicholas D. Chabraja, also known as Nick, serves as the President of General Dynamics Defense Systems, Inc. Mr. Chabraja served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of General Dynamics Land Systems Inc. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of General Dynamics Corporation from June 1, 1997 to June 30, 2009. He served as an Executive Vice President of General Dynamics Corporation from March 1994 to December 1996, served as its Senior Vice President and General Counsel from 1993 to 1994. Mr. Chabraja served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of FC Business Systems, Inc. He served as the Executive Chairman of General Dynamics Corporation from June 1, 1997 to May 5, 2010 and its Vice Chairman from December 1996 to May 1997. He served as the Non-Executive Chairman of Tower International, Inc. from August 24, 2010 to April 30, 2017 and its Independent Director from 2010 to April 30, 2017. He has been a Director of General Dynamics Corporation since 1994. He serves as a Trustee of DePauw University. He served as a Member of Board of Advisors at HCI Equity Partners. He served as a Director of Northern Trust Corporation from January 1, 2007 to April 21, 2015. He served as a Director at Ceridian Corporation from March 2001 to September 12, 2007. Mr. Chabraja served as a Member of the Board of Governors of Aerospace Industries Association until January 2010.
