Biography
F. Michael (Mike) Ball is appointed Division Head and CEO Alcon effective February 1, 2016. He is a member of the Executive Committee of Novartis. Mr. Ball was CEO of Hospira from 2011-2015. At Hospira, a world leader in injectable pharmaceuticals and infusion devices, he successfully turned the company around and grew it by focusing on product and quality improvements, and expanding its global footprint.
