Biography

Dr. Wayne Simmons CEO and BOD Member ALD Nano announced that its Board of Directors has appointed as Chief Executive Officer effective September 2017.He most recently was the CEO and a board member for Sundrop Fuels and has over 35 years of experience in the energy, chemical and environmental industries including over 15 years in chief executive roles. He brings a long successful track record of building partnerships with Fortune 500 companies to rapidly bring new technology to commercial deployment. Prior to joining Sundrop, he was the founding CEO of Velocys, Inc., a microchannel chemical process technology company. In addition to other early stage companies, he spent much of his early career in various management and engineering positions at Exxon. He received engineering degree energy, chemical and environmental, microchannel chemical process technology. s with his B.S. from Texas A&M, an M.S. from the California Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin. In addition, he complemented these with the Executive Management Program at the University of Michigan Business School.
