Stephen M. Dow

Biography

 Mr. Stephen M. Dow, also known as Steve, serves as a General Partner at Sevin Rosen Funds, Sevin Rosen Fund VIII, L.P and Sevin Rosen IX, L.P. Mr. Dow joined Sevin Rosen Funds in 1983 and has helped entrepreneurs refine their great ideas and turn them into thriving realities, serving as an Advisor and a Counselor during incubation periods. He served as the Chief Executive Officer at Ansa Software and Calera. He has been the Chairman of Alder Biopharmaceuticals Inc. since September 2005 and also has been its Director since April 2005. He served as the Chairman of Citrix Systems, Inc. from May 2002 to May 5, 2005 and served as its Director from July 1989 to October 29, 2015. He serves as a Director of Reactive NanoTechnologies, Inc. (RNT) and Limerick BioPharma, Inc. He is a co-owner of Dow Investments II L.P. He serves as a Director of Dataminr, Inc. and iChoose, Inc. He serves as a Member of Board of Arqule Inc, Alder Biopharmaceuticals Inc., Kabira, Limerick Neurosciences, Plectix Biosystems and OpenClovis. He served as a Director at Cytokinetics, Incorporated since April 1998 to May 22, 2013 and its Lead Outside Director from February 19, 2009 to March 2010. He served as a Director of Airgo Networks, Inc. and Green Border Technologies, Inc. He served as a Director of Corsair Communications since May 1996. Mr. Dow received an MBA and a BA in Economics from Stanford University.
