Mr. Trombetta has served as vice president and controller since February 2014. He is considered Aleris’ chief accounting officer under applicable regulatory rules. From May 2008 through January 2014, Mr. Trombetta served as vice president, chief accounting officer and assistant controller. Prior to joining Aleris, he was with Ernst & Young LLP for twelve years and at the time of his leaving was a senior manager in the Assurance & Advisory Business Services Practice. Mr. Trombetta graduated from Miami University with a BSBA in Accounting.
