W. Allen Doane

Biography

    Mr. W. Allen Doane served as the Chief Executive Officer of Matson, Inc. from October 1998 to December 31, 2009 and its President from October 1998 to October 1, 2008. Mr. Doane served as President of A&B-Hawaii Inc. from April 1995 to December 1999. He served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Alexander & Baldwin Inc. He served as an Executive Vice President of Alexander & Baldwin Inc. from August 1998 to October 1998. He served as Chief Executive Officer of A&B-Hawaii Inc., (ABHI) from January 1997 to December 1999. He serves as the Chairman of A&B Properties, Inc. Mr. Doane served as Chairman of Matson, Inc. from April 27, 2006 to December 31, 2009. He served as Chairman of the Board of Matson Navigation Company Inc. from July 2002 to January 2004. Mr. Doane served as Vice Chairman of Matson Navigation Company Inc., from January 2004 to April 2006 and previously from December 1998 to July 2002. He serves as Director of Pacific Guardian Life Insurance Co. Ltd. He has been a Director of First Hawaiian Bank since 1999. Mr. Doane serves as Director of First Hawaiian, Inc. He has been a Director of Alexander & Baldwin, Inc.
