Biography
Sal Stazzone, President and Chief Executive Officer of Alliance Foods, Inc., joined the company in 2007, originally holding the position of Senior Vice President, Sales and Merchandising. In addition to acting as President and CEO, Sal also serves as a trustee for the company’s ESOP, a member of the Board of Directors, and as a Corporate Officer. Sal’s 30-year career includes executive and senior management positions at such national and international corporations as Beech Nut Nutrition, Ralston Purina, Helene Curtis, EJ Brachs and Noxell/Procter & Gamble. He earned a Master of Science Degree in Marketing from the University of Colorado - Denver, as well as a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Illinois - Champaign. Sal is a member of the American Marketing Association, the Food Marketing Institute (where he also serves on the Private Brands Collaboration Committee) and the Private Label Manufacturers Association. When he’s not in the office, you can often find Sal working hard in another field - the baseball field. Sal has enjoyed being a high school and college baseball umpire for more than 20 years, and is also a member of the Greater St. Louis Association of Umpires.
