Biography

President, Allion USA Ryan joined Allion USA in 2010 after a successful 15 year career with Intel Corporation, ultimately accumulating accolades as one of the youngest directors in Intel history. Ryan led several unprecedented internal efforts including certifying his Validation Engineers with ISTQB and a cross-company effort to monetize the test capabilities of his organization. Under Ryan’s direction, Allion USA has experienced exponential growth, and with the expanded capabilities and expertise has allowed Allion to explore new industries. In 2012, Ryan founded Cinder Solutions to address adjacencies in the high tech industry, growing Cinder to over 150 employees in 2 years. As a result of his leadership, today Allion USA and Cinder Solutions provide services to over 150 customers. Allion USA has been recognized as a top workplace by both the Oregonian (2013 & 2014) and the Portland Business Journal (2013). Cinder Staffing was honored as one of PBJ’s Top 10 Staffing Firms in 2014. Ryan was named to the PBJ’s 40 Under 40 list in 2014. Allion USA also received the Corporate Innovation in Philanthropy Award in 2014, related to their involvement with These Numbers Have Faces. Ryan graduated with a Computer Science degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. A published author, he co-wrote Introduction to the Team Software Process and contributed content to How Google Tests Software. He sits on the board at Valley Catholic Schools, These Numbers Have Faces non-profit, Beaverton Social Services Funding Committee and PSU’s Engineering Industrial Advisory Board as well as the President of the non-profit Mission: Salt + Light. In his free time, Ryan enjoys camping, boating, and trips to the beach with his wife and two sons.
