Biography

    Mr. David C. Everitt, also known as Dave, B.SC. (ENGINEERING), served as an Interim Chief Executive Officer at Harsco Corporation from March 1, 2014 to July 31, 2014 and served as its Interim President from March 1, 2014 to April 2014. Mr. Everitt served as the President of Agriculture & Turf Division for Americas, Australia and Global Harvesting & Turf Platforms at Deere & Company. He served as President of Agriculture & Equipment Operations of Deere & Company. He served as the President Agriculture & Turf Division - North America, Asia, Australia, Sub-Saharan, South Africa, Global Tractor and Turf Products at Deere & Company. He served as President of Tractor Product And Turf and Utility Product Platforms and Agriculture & Turf Division of Deere & Company since 2009 and its President of Global Harvesting Equipment Sourcing, Agricultural Division for Europe, Africa & South America and Agricultural Division for North America Australia Asia since August 2001. Mr. Everitt served as President of Global Tractor and Implement Sourcing of Deere & Company since January 5, 2006 and also served as its President of Agricultural Division - North America Australia Asia. Mr. Everitt served as the President, Agricultural Division – Europe, Africa, the Middle East, South America and Global Harvesting Equipment Sourcing of Deere & Company from August 2001 to September 01, 2012. In December 2003, he was given additional responsibility for John Deere Global Agriculture Services and Agri-Food Information Systems, operating units of Deere & Company's Special Technologies Group. Since joining Deere & Co. in 1975 as an Engineer of the Horicon Works, he has held a variety of management positions in the areas of industrial engineering, production engineering, mechanical services and sales in Deere & Co., including John Deere Waterloo Works. He has also managed business development and cotton and factory operations at John Deere Des Moines Works. Since 1996, he served as Director of Region I, in the Worldwide Agricultural Equipment Division at John Deere Des Moines Works and was promoted to the position of Vice President, Region I, Worldwide Agricultural Equipment Division for two years. In September 1999, he moved to Deere & Company's European headquarters in Mannheim, Germany, as Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Region II. Mr. Everitt serves as Chairman and Director of John Deere S.A.S., France. He has been the Non-Executive Chairman of Harsco Corporation since August 1, 2014. He serves as Chairman of John Deere (Proprietary) Limited, South Africa. He also serves as President of the Board and Director of John Deere Ibérica S.A., Spain. He has been an Independent Director of Brunswick Corporation since September 1, 2012 and Allison Transmission Holdings, Inc. since August 07, 2014. He has been an Independent Director at Harsco Corporation since November 2010. He has been an Independent Director of Agrium Inc, since February 11, 2013. He serves as Director of John Deere Limited, Gates Corporation, Scotland and John Deere Bank S.A., Luxembourg. He also serves as a Member of the Advisory board of Deutsche Bank AG, Mannheim, Germany. He served as Director of John Deere Capital Corp. Mr. Everitt is a 1975 graduate of Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering.
