Biography
Mr. Richard V. Reynolds has been the Principal of VanFleet Group, LLC since 2006 and has been its Owner since 2005. Mr. Reynolds served as Senior Manager/ Senior Business Advisor of BearingPoint, Inc. from 2005 to 2008. He retired as Lieutenant General, U.S. Air Force. He served as Vice Commander, Air Force Material Command from 2003 to 2005. He served as Commander, Aeronautical Systems Center of U.S. Air Force Material Command from 2001 to 2003. He served as Commander, Air Force Flight Test Center of U.S. Air Force Material Command from 1998 to 2001. Mr. Reynolds served as a Program Executive Officer, Airlift and Trainers of U.S. Air Force Program Executive Office from 1996 to 1998. He held various other leadership positions in the U.S. Air Force from 1971 to 1996. He retired from the U.S. Air Force in 2005, after 34 years of active duty, where he served as a combat ready pilot, experimental test pilot and program manager. He was Program Director for the B-2 Spirit. He serves as a Director of Air Force Museum Foundation, Inc., Barco Federal Systems, LLC and GE Rolls-Royce Fighter Engine Team. Mr. Reynolds has been an Independent Director of Apogee Enterprises, Inc. since June 28, 2006 and Allison Transmission Holdings, Inc. since November 2010. He Graduating in 1971 from the U.S. Air Force Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering, General Reynolds has a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University and a Master of Arts degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College.
