Biography

    Mr. William Richard Harker co-founded Ashe Capital Management, LP in 2013 and serves as its President and Chief Compliance Officer. Mr. Harker serves as a Portfolio Manager of Ashe Capital Partners, LP. He co-founded Ashe Capital Partners. Prior to this, Mr. Harker served as the General Counsel of ESL Investments, Inc. until 2012. Prior to this, he served as a Consultant of Sears Holdings Corporation and served as its Senior Vice President from April 2006 to August 15, 2012. He served as a Corporate Secretary of Sears Holdings Corporation from January 2006 to May 2010 and served as its General Counsel from December 2006 to May 2010. Mr. Harker served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Sears Holdings Corporation from February 2008 to August 2009 and also as its Acting General Counsel since January 2006, Vice President from September 2005 to April 2006 and Chief Counsel since September 2005. He practiced corporate law with the law firm of Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen and Katz from September 2000 to August 2005, where he served as Corporate Attorney. He served as the Chairman of Sears Hometown and Outlet Stores, Inc. from August 15, 2012 to May 27, 2015. He served as Vice Chairman of Sears Canada Inc., and served as its Non Independent Director from November 21, 2008 to April 23, 2015. He serves on the Board of Advisors of the Institute for Law and Economics at the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He is a member of the New York State Bar. He has been a Director of Allison Transmission Holdings, Inc. since May 11, 2017. Mr. Harker holds a Law Degree from the University of Pennsylvania law school and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Degree from West Virginia University.
