Biography
Mr. McGirr has over 20 years of experience in information technology and software development with various tech companies in both the Midwest and West Coast. Prior to AlterG, Mr. McGirr worked in technical and business sales for Apple, focusing on startups in the Bay Area. He then started his own IT consulting firm, assisting small business customers to advance their internal IT systems to meet growing needs. Mr. McGirr joined the AlterG team in 2008, first as a consultant, then as a full time employee, and finally as the Director of Information Technology in 2014. Now also a member of the new product development team, Mr. McGirr has played a key role in bringing the Pro200 Plus and M320 Stride Smart to market. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Ohio University, where he specialized in Computer Engineering.
