Biography
He was a teenaged technician in Valdez at pipeline startup. A month later, he helped load the ARCO Juneau with the inaugural shipment of TAPS oil. He was among the initial responders to the Exxon Valdez oil spill at Bligh Reef and then was part of the team that created SERVS. He literally wrote the book on the pipeline's 30-year right of way Grant and Lease renewal. He's served in some of the most pivotal and high-pressured positions on TAPS.
