Dave Shumway

Biography

 Dave joined AMC Engineers in 1994. He became AMC Engineers Mechanical Engineering Department Head and company Vice President in 2012. Dave enjoys troubleshooting complex mechanical engineering problems through the application of fundamental physical principals. He then consistently applies the most appropriate and simplest design solution to meet his client’s project goals. From Dave's "past life," he has over 10 years’ of practical “hands on” experience with the operation of nuclear powered propulsion systems. His designs always center on the operational and maintenance needs of the client. His design motto is “Simple is Elegant.” When he’s not in the office, Dave enjoys working on home remodel projects.
