Biography
Bob has over 40 years of experience in the oversight, operations and management of infrastructure, power, oil & gas, mining and environmental projects. Between 2012 and 2015, Bob was the President, Chief Executive Officer and a board member of SNC-Lavalin Group, Inc. Between 1975 and 2012 he spent his career at CH2M where he held a variety of executive management positions, including almost 14 years as a member of its board. While at CH2M, he also served as deputy programme manager for the London 2012 Olympics for the Delivery Partner, CLM. He was also the project manager for one of the world’s largest and most successful nuclear weapons plant remediation projects for the Rocky Flats site in Colorado. Bob was the Under Secretary of the U.S. Department of Energy between 2001 and 2004 responsible for all the Department’s business in Energy, Environment and Science. He has prior relationships with the Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS) and the Brookings Institution. He holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from Stanford and completed the Executive PMD program at Harvard Business School. He is currently the President of The Card Group, LLC, an executive consultancy.
